Meath Gold Coast

Generic placeholder image

The Meath Gold Coast is the coastal hinterland of the beautiful stretch of sandy beach running 10km from the mouth of the river Boyne at Mornington, past Bettystown, Laytown, across the river Nanny, via Mosney to the river Delvin at Gormanston.

A treasure trove of historic and natural beauty, the Meath Gold Coast is bordered to the north across the Boyne by county Louth with views of the spectacular Mourne & Cooley Mountains, while to the south the islands off Skerries and as far south as the Dublin & Wicklow mountains can be seen.

The area stretches from Mornington, Bettystown & Laytown, to Mosney & Gormanston, inland to Stamullen, Julianstown, Bellewstown, Duleek, Donore, Slane and back to Drogheda.
